After watching the movie at 11:36 in the evening, it is strange that this love chapter did not let me see the beauty of love, although the ending was very happy.
The hostess is a proud, independent, confident, kind, strong woman who deserves a good life. But she met her husband. She was happy until she met her husband, her only trouble was that she always had to turn down suitors. Later, she got married, and the marriage brought her great harm. She was physically and mentally exhausted. Once again, she faced a choice. Sometimes the choice itself is a very painful thing. Later events cost her her husband and her suitor. There was only Gabriel by his side. I'm sure she has Gabriel in her heart, otherwise she wouldn't seek his advice every time she makes an important decision. But I still don't understand who does the hostess love? Maybe she loved Gabriel and she didn't know it, maybe she loved her husband more. It's just that her husband hurt her more than love, so is this love still meaningful?
The film hostess can't help but remind me of Audrey Hepburn, they're all beautiful, kind, and confident. They are equally hurt in their love lives. I like the scene where Gabriel proposes like Evertin at the beginning of the film. Love the smile on Evertin's face.
