Mike and Joanna are a sweet couple that everyone admires. Mike is a commercial real estate developer with a successful career. Joanna is a freelance writer and author of books. Mack's project has a new female colleague, Laura. Laura is smart, hard-working, a typical strong woman, and very sexy. Joanna once had a relationship in France with the well-known writer Alex. Whenever the relationship went wrong, Joanna would think of the original Alex.
The script is quite coincidental. Mike and Joanna attended the banquet of Mike's company together. At the banquet, Joanna met Mike's new colleague Laura. What makes Joanna angry is that at the banquet, it seems that Mike and Laura are the only ones talking. Joanna and Mike got pissed when they got back. Mike didn't know why, but he quickly figured out what the problem was, and made eggs for his wife to eat at night. Joanna and Mike reconcile.
It's time to really test the relationship between the two. Mike and Laura are out on a business trip with another colleague. After the business talks, it was already late at night, and Mike and Laura went to the bar for drinks. The two drank round after round, and came back to bring the pool, and Laura's experience gave Mike sympathy. The two then returned to the hotel room.
Joanna was at home alone, and when she went out to buy coffee, she met Alex who appeared on purpose. The two agreed on a time and place, recalling the feelings of the year. In the evening, Alex invited Joanna to have dinner with his friends and had a good chat. Alex wants to rekindle an old relationship, but Joanna refuses. But Joanna found Alex again, and the two spent a night together, nothing specific happened.
Early the next morning, Mike felt sorry for his wife, turned off work and went home as soon as possible, trying to make up for her. Joanna also felt a little sorry for Mike, and there were faint tears in her eyes. Both seemed to realize something.
