After watching the movie, I was indescribably depressing.
Want to write something. I vaguely remember that I haven't watched many Japanese TV dramas and movies since I watched some Japanese TV dramas and movies when I was in school more than ten years ago.
I came back from a trip to Japan a few days ago and began to have a great interest in Japanese culture. I actually started to like Japanese history. After watching the cut abdomen today, the first feeling is uncomfortable.
The Japanese samurai of the shogunate era, in that era when the dynasties changed, and the ability of a samurai was eliminated by the times. Living is indeed a kind of torment, but even in such chaotic and dark times, people can still obtain some of the most beautiful and real happiness, such as the bond between Hanshiro and his father, the relationship between Mibao and his daughter, and Hanshiro's actions towards Jingo. Every move reveals the love of the grandfather's grandson. In that era when they could not afford to eat, they could still get that only warmth. Even if it was a trace, Hanshiro felt that it was the happiest time in his life.
There are dark corners in any era, even in the current society, it looks beautiful, but some people are carrying forward. In the shogunate era when everyone promoted the spirit of Bushido, there were still so many hypocritical samurai in sheep's clothing. Not to mention that he didn't have a little bit of trust, and he killed a beggar who really had the spirit of Bushido without knowing things clearly (I believe that he would still go to the appointment even if he went back for two days, because his father was also a real Bushido-spirited samurai) and then kill a family. In the end, Banshiro killed the Jingyin family by himself, and after the "general" (destroyed the Jingyin family's ancestral armor), Banshiro saw through these hypocritical people, he knew that he could not live, and he did not want to die in these sanctimonious self-righteousness. In the hands of those who profess the spirit of Bushido, when he was about to cut his belly, the Jingyin family took a musket to end Hanshiro's life.
When the sloppy bloody land is re-covered by sand; when Hanshiro's booty is thrown into the trash; when the ruined furniture of the famous Jing Yin family is replaced; when the armor of the ancestors of the Jing Yin family is repaired as old;
Everything seems to have not happened, everything seems to start anew; there are no dirty people, only the Jing Yin family praised by the big name.. Can't help but sigh, what is true? What is fake? Maybe history has never been true...
