The parallel universe of the abyss

Nicole is thinner, mature and a little pure, the film is not sensational, a little light, and not too tear-jerking. But the acting is still good. It's really easy for others to comfort this kind of emotion, but everyone's situation is different when they come out. Perhaps only those audiences who have also experienced this kind of depression and have no intention of hurting those around them will resonate.
The theory in the book "Parallel Universe" in the show is:
"this is just the sad version of us. But there are other versions. As other versions, everything goes our way. I like that thought. It's nice. Somewhere out there I'm having a good time."
(It's just a sad version of our lives. There are other versions where everything is alright - I love the idea, it's good - somewhere, we're still having fun Years.)

This is indeed better than believing in God.

The final ending also gave the audience room to imagine, but fortunately, the two hands were held together, which gave me some comfort.

There's a segment I don't understand. When BECCA saw the boy crying like that in the car, what kind of emotion was that?

  • [last lines]

    Becca: [voice-over] And then what?

    Howie: [voice-over] I don't know... Something though.

  • Nat: You know, Becca, when your brother died, I found the church very helpful.

Becca: I know. I know you did, but that's you. That's not me, and Danny... Danny isn't Arthur.

Nat: You know, I brought you to church every Sunday.

Becca: Let's not start this again, okay, Mom? I'm just... I'm just calling about the cake.

Nat: You're not right about everything, you know? What if there is a God?

Becca: Then I'd say he's a sadistic prick.

Nat: All right, Becca, that's enough.

Becca: "Worship me and I'll treat you like shit." No wonder you like him. He sounds just like Dad.
