Actually, we can't do anything

A very subjective and emotional film, especially the ending, in line with my love of tragedy.
But this is not a tragedy after all, this is a processed documentary, its purpose is to make the audience have a strong sense of identity, so as to take certain actions.
But as a spectator, what can we do? We also charter a plane and go to the streets of Japan to protest? The result may be that you can't even get a visa.
My roommate told me that he thinks that killing dolphins is essentially the same as killing pigs and sheep. Can we make dolphins more pitiful because they are so cute?
It’s different, it’s really different. Pigs, sheep, cows and chickens are raised by us and are meant to be eaten. But dolphins are different. They are so humane and obedient. It can be said that they are equivalent to human friends. It should also belong to the pet level. I don't believe it. Whoever sees their pets being killed so cruelly does not feel distressed.
What's more, there is still so much mercury left in the dolphin's body, which is actually the bane of humans.
I have always been full of complex psychology towards the nation of Japan. I feel that it is a country of etiquette. Tokyo is the cleanest developed city in the world, and the quality of the Japanese is also well-known in the world.
But in such a country, there are still a small number of inhuman scum. After watching Dolphin Bay, I can only be glad that the overlord of the world is not Japan, otherwise the world will have to follow it!
At the same time, I envy the American spirit of advocating a belief and pursuing it at all costs. They do have time, energy, and most importantly, money! I also want this kind of belief, but the premise is that we must first manage our own affairs. This is no longer easy, not to mention spanning more than half of the world to care about other people's "business affairs". For most of us, Simply delusional. And those with economic strength, most of them lack moral values...
far from it...
We have no control over the health of Japanese children, and killing dolphins is also a matter of their own territory. After watching this film and understanding the truth presented to us by the director, it is easy to feel uncomfortable all of a sudden.
Otherwise, we really can't do anything...

I personally think this is very subjective...

A documentary that can't be more mediocre. Of course, I mean the film itself. If you count the funny logic of the documentary, we can only say that the world is full of a group of compassionate ignorance, a group of moral hypocrites and some clever and cunning narrators.

The Cove quotes

  • Hardy Jones: Every cetacean known to man is endangered just by going anywhere near Japan.

  • Richard O'Barry: A dolphin in the right spot can make a million dollars a year. There's a lot of money in it. If you get in their way - and I get in their way - it can be very, very dangerous.
