Writing this long review because the rating is a bit higher than I expected.

The advantages of Ghost Slayer's Blade are clear and undisputed - beautifully painted and special effects. Therefore, I will mainly describe the shortcomings of this work: 1. The plot setting is routine. The tragic experience, the inner belief, the person who wants to protect... This kind of script of the protagonist fighting monsters and upgrading has been played 800 times by 800 animes before and after, and I didn't see Ghost Slayer Blade. What makes the overall story of this cliché stand out from the crowd.
2. Character settings are extreme. Grab the feature of a point and zoom in infinitely to create a character. Is it popular to portray characters in this simple and crude way? I don't deny that many characters have very unique settings, and some of them have my own excitement, but it's really hard for me to accept this kind of painting method of "as long as I draw enough people, I can always satisfy the audience's hobbies" .
3. It can be said that the atmosphere is poorly created, and the feeling of being flat and straightforward all the time has not made me feel the slightest sense of substitution, and my emotions have not been mobilized, so most of the time I feel very boring after watching the whole work.
4. The only thing to watch except for the younger sister is the ukiyo-e-style special effects, but it prefers to depict the growth of the characters in the way of fighting while recalling and talking to themselves crazily. It is difficult for people to fully enjoy action play.
5. As mentioned above, the rich inner activity is the most frustrating part of this work. Especially in the first few episodes, there are so many inner dramas that they are persuaded to quit. And not only the protagonist, but every important supporting role has a huge amount of psychological activity, which is really uncomfortable. I prefer that the producers can show the growth of the characters in a way that is not just a psychological activity.
In short, Ghost Slayer may be a good anime for young audiences who haven't seen many classic works.
Finally, Nezuko is so cute.
