Tony Bennett said, "Slow down. You're too important. Life teaches you really how to live it, if you could live long enough." She's already a Fame when others are starting to shine. Amy has become famous too fast, but she is not mature enough to digest the excessive consumption and harm behind the honor. Drawing thick eyeliner is the beginning of her fame and the beginning of tragedy. Her father is her catastrophe, Blake is her catastrophe, but also her madness, her fanatic. I don't believe she doesn't know how scumbag her husband is, and everything is fate. At least she has always maintained a free and easy soul in music. As she has always been a greedy and fragile little girl.

Yasiin Bey: I became aware of Amy in 2004. I'm a big jazz fan and I really liked what she was doing. I thought it was unique, I thought it was edgy. And sincere. And that's the thing I like most about Amy. She didn't have any airs. She was real... She was just a charming, sweet lady. I had a bit of a crush on her, to be honest. She was raw, she was fast with a blue joke, could drink anybody under the table, wasn't afraid to roll a smoke. Had a big, giant laugh, and was just a sweetheart, you know?
