Again, I didn't really appreciate jazz or reggae when I was a teenager, but I felt an indescribable impact in her music, as if someone was knocking on an iron door in your heart, not you in the door She's outside the door, but you're all inside, and she's knocking for you, as if knocking and you're going to see a completely different, completely authentic self.
They tried to make me go to rehab, I said no, no, no.
Yes I've been black and when I come back, you'll know, know, know.
I ain't got the time
And if my daddy thinks I'm fine.
They tried to make me go to rehab I won't go, go, go.
Probably because of this lyric I thought for a while that Amy had a rich dad, why is he a rich dad, Probably because I was watching gossip girl.. so when you don't really want to get to know a person, especially when the person has everything that everyone defines as success, you won't see her as a person at all .
Amy is fragile and weak, lacks self-control, and has little strength from herself. But you can see how serious she is about being alive, she doesn't waste her talent, her talent as a musician artist is too great to crowd out the talent that everyone has as a mortal living. Most people's shells at the center of the growth process are getting thicker and stronger, and her heart seems to be getting thinner and thinner.
That's why my heart hurts the whole time I watch the AMY documentary.
'Amy, rest in peace.'
When Amy's body was carried out of her house, the dark body bag, it was Amy, with a thin body inside, as if her body and soul had floated out of that stretcher . Someone shouted, 'Amy rest in peace.' How could you say that if you knew her story?
I'm not a big fan of hers, but I don't want her to go. I don't want to say this, I can't say something like RIP.
"slow down, you're too important, life teaches you really how to live it if you can live long enough."
If you were to analyze why, Freud could smile. Childhood experiences have a decisive influence on the formation of character, parental relationship, daddy complex, etc. But this kind of analysis is not necessary, just as you can't make a genius with theory and formula, so you can't save a fatalistic tragedy with therapy and meditation. What matters is that you lived, used yourself to the fullest, and exploded. Life is short, and how short it is, there may be situations where it is not the most important thing.
