The film shows not only the history of the United States, but the current state

#Detroit# #Detroit# (A) terrifying is the best word to describe this film. The whole movie was shocking. I admire the director's skill so much, the torture scene in the hotel was so torturous, it was like a nightmare, and any audience would feel shivering all over. Every shot or shout was terrifying. Just by the handling of the scene and the rendering of the tension, director Kathryn Bigelow can be nominated for the Oscar again! The background of the film may be inconvenient to talk about (including sensitive issues), but in fact that history is only the background of the story. The film focuses on the abuse of power by some law enforcement officers and the sad ending in the historical background at that time. However, thinking about it, it will not necessarily be different now, which is also the most embarrassing place.

The addition of Falcon Anthony Mackie and Star Wars guy John Boyega undoubtedly added more attention, but the two of them are not actually the main characters. It is because of their popularity that the audience can easily identify the characters' faces. But seeing the two of them being tortured or wronged because they are African-Americans makes me really angry, and I especially hope that they can turn into action heroes and beat up those police officers right away. However, this time, both of them can only become victims who cannot resist. Will Poulter is a complete villain in the film, but he plays it so well that it's not only scary but makes anyone who sees it want to spit in his face [your sad] The best villain of the year!

In fact, many times the anger this film brings is not just because of racial discrimination, but regrets that many tragedies stem from prejudice and misunderstanding. There is no effective communication between people, no trust, just venting anger and hatred to each other. The relationship between white cops and black civilians in this film is the same as the relationship between humans and apes in #Rise of the Planet of the Apes 3: The Ultimate Battle#. You may quickly side with the weak, but in the end you will find that this is not so simple as black and white, right and wrong, but a social contradiction rooted in any era that is difficult to disappear.

It's sad. Because it feels that many times, even now, even if it is not between blacks and whites, many conflicts and many tragedies are still caused by prejudice that cannot be communicated or out of control for a while. So at the end of the day, you may get more from this film than you expected. It's not just a racial film, it's more about the long-standing problems in multi-racial societies and the long-standing problems with human beings themselves.

Personally, I think this film is very likely to be nominated for awards season awards such as Best Picture, Director, Acting, Screenplay, Editing, etc.
