2014 Oscar nomination for Best Foreign Language Film - Russian drama "Leviathan". This is a thorough [treatment of depression] story, and comedy lovers should not enter it. The story focuses on a "nail household" in the northern village of Russia, and tells the changes in the life of this hard-to-relocate household. The rough picture quality and scenes unique to movies in high-latitude countries, and the always cold and depressing weather constitute the whole story. There is irony in many places: the judge reads the verdict at a super-fast speed without emotion, the whale skeleton laying on the shore of the Buddha's body... There is a particularly interesting dialogue: "Where is the merciful and almighty God?" ""My God, in my heart. As for yours, I don't know. "Oh, I also checked what object [Leviathan] is, it turned out to be a sea monster symbolizing evil in ancient legends.
