After watching the whole film, I feel betrayal and deception throughout.
In the beginning, the government deceived the people of Diaosi, then the wife betrayed the husband, then the friend betrayed the friend, and finally the finishing touch, the black gold boss taught his son "God is watching" in front of their GOD in the church, which is really ironic to the extreme .
The whole story doesn't advance very fast, but it has a good sense of rhythm, and it progresses layer by layer. I especially appreciate the cry of the male protagonist when he finally collapses, and it feels very good. From the high-spirited state in front, to being overwhelmed, then to despair, to the final collapse, it can be seen that it is completely over, and he has completely accepted his fate.
All in all, it's a good movie to watch alone.
