Played by life instead of Wife

I think this film can actually be summed up in a line from Angela's stage play: Life is nothing if not totally ironic. Life is nothing if not totally ironic. When the development of things, the trend of life in an unimaginable way, the protagonist, or by extension, we in life, can only accept its guidance and go downstream. You can resist, you can go upstream, but courage is not something everyone can have. Few people in life can recognize the jokes that life makes to us. When Terry went to the suburbs to find Ian, when it came to God, Ian felt that Terry was already talking nonsense. It's all a joke, God must be full of laughter when he sees the people below being led by the nose.
Cycle . Terry realized it early, but he jumped in anyway. Ian didn't realize it until later, but kept going. When I saw that Ian was really going to poison his brother, I couldn't express the disappointment of human nature, the joke of life was so serious. In the end, whether it is God or life or life, I finally know that I am joking, and if I stop playing, everything is over. Terry and Ian's cycle finally ended, they jumped in and never came out again. Ain't life grand ? This sentence appears many times in the film, I think it is a question that only people who get rid of the jokes of life can answer.
I have seen Woody Allen's match-ending point before, and I feel that there is something in common with this film, which is an exploration and experiment of human nature. Yes, experiment, if so, what temptation is there, what chance is there, what will happen to this person, what will happen to that person, and what will happen to the result. However, in real life, no one can withstand such an experiment. But, because he gave us a chance to think about these human issues, still have to pay tribute to old Woody.

Cassandra's Dream quotes

  • Father: Nobody wants to be selfish, but everybody is.

  • Mother: Everybody predicted great things for Ian. He's so nice looking and personable. Now, it's a mystery to me why he's not more successful.

Father: Because he's not content with what he has. He sees himself like Howard, with a fancy life. Always got some scheme. Always waiting for his ship to come in.

Mother: Well, his ship won't come in at the restaurant. He does that out of a son's love for his father.

Father: Like the poet said, "The only ship certain to come in has black sails."
