(no spoilers)
This is a movie that will make people sullen and speechless for a long time (about 10 minutes), and then suddenly burst into laughter/moved. The effect is similar to that in "Transcendence", where Mr. Xibo (hahahaha?) let the scantily clad girls see it at first Sunset pics in Hawaii, followed by X-sick Ovami pics - funny and serious.
The film has two main characteristics.
1. Contradictory characters
The male protagonist was a dangerous and irritable character when he first appeared on the scene. After meeting the female protagonist Leila, a series of operations were confusing. After the crisis was finally resolved, his remarks to Leila in the car hinted at his character: immature , Self-centered, in general, he has no scheming, is an idealist with a relatively heavy family concept. He oscillates between irritability and ideals like this. When his parents came on stage later, it really made people sigh "it's not that one family doesn't enter the house" ah.
2. The dislocation of the characters' feelings
Most of the plots of "Buffalo 66" show the dislocation of feelings between people, which brings pain to the parties, but it brings funny feelings to the audience, and at the same time is secretly anxious for the actors. If we jump out of our own lives like watching a movie and be a sober bystander, maybe we can feel the same way.
Finally, I want to talk about the ending. The male protagonist in the second ending is full of peaceful and fraternal feelings, ready to meet a loving and gentle life.
But I especially like the setting of the first ending, the male lead and his parents made me laugh. It is precisely because of the foil of the first ending that the second ending is precious.
It is precisely because of the small and humble reality that true love is worth cherishing.
