The only one who sets limits in life is yourself

Yesterday, I rewarded myself for watching a movie "Intouchables" because of the output of daily study.

Watching movies is a regular thing for me. I found a movie I liked in the subject matter and starred in it before, so I went there when I had time. After learning to control money, after entering daily review, I have a clearer understanding of time, and I begin to make choices consciously. Small things in life, such as watching movies and gathering dinners, are endowed with meanings other than their own. Be a form of self-reward.

In this rhythm of learning-creating-celebrating, the small things of life are chosen to be more vivid and more valuable.

Here are some insights from the movie:

1. Life is the result of self-selection

How to face such a life when only the body above the neck still "belongs" to oneself?

The director didn't make a big point, but used two people with strong contrasts, elegant-vulgar, rich-poor, sick-healthy, in the conflict of values and the resonance of human nature, let us see the tension of life and the infinite possibilities of life.

Some people will say that because the protagonist Philippe is rich, he can get all-round care after being paralyzed, and he can do whatever he wants. If he had no money, he might have ended his life long ago.

However, through a dialogue between the two protagonists, the film shows that his first pot of gold did not come from his family. From writing a book and becoming a well-known writer, to setting up a studio and supporting aspiring people to achieve their careers, every bit of wealth accumulated to his own efforts. In reality, there are always people who envy or even envy others who live better than them. They never reflect on whether the "superior life" that others have is what they want, and if they really want it, how can they get it openly.

Many times, life becomes more unsatisfactory because you dare not face up to your desires, ignore your desires, and cover up your dreams. This is also the deepest insight I got from the film.

Just like the other protagonist in the film, Driss, a black man from the bottom of the society, who has been imprisoned many times since he was a child and has formed a "bad root", but the most valuable thing is that he lives his own life and is real, and his nature is kind. It is His "rudeness", in a naked way, "forced" Philip to face the cruel reality, accept the broken self in the eyes of outsiders, begin to face up to what he has and want, and open a new chapter in his life.

2. What should I do if I choose the wrong one?

Dehis has made many "mistakes". At the beginning of the film, he just got out of prison and has no money and no place to live. Through the conversations between him and his girlfriend and the investigation of Philip's neighbors, it can be seen that in the past days, he was not enterprising and bad deeds. If everyone has their own important watershed in life, for Dehis, the first half of his life ruined by his father ended in a mistake that made him "self-awakening". This time, because he realized: "This is a mistake that must be corrected," he took the initiative to face and admit the mistake. With Philip's understanding, he obtained "redemption" and restarted his life.

People who are not saints and sages are infallible, everyone knows this saying. But in life, we either do not know that we have made mistakes, and we are still full of confidence and go further and further on the wrong road; or we find our mistakes, but because we have gone too far and can't see the way back, we choose a path to the dark. …

Romain Rolland once said, "There is only one true heroism in the world, and that is to love life after knowing the truth". For those who have made wrong choices, they can face up to themselves, admit "I was wrong", take on the bad consequences of the causes they planted in the past, ignore the status quo that they are no longer trusted or forgiven, and redefine themselves. Begin earnestly and work hard to walk on the right path. Such people are also worthy of respect and encouragement . It is this courage that allows them to grow rapidly and become their "complete" selves.

3. Where is the starting point for realizing the dream of life?

Philip initially turned down Dehis's requests for support and rejected a number of his "startup ideas". The reason for the refusal is not that these ideas are not valuable enough, but that it is not Dehis's real dream. " Find your passion and amplify it," says Philip.

Seeing this, I froze in my heart, "Isn't this the key point for me to wake up and find my way after so many months of study?"

Find your passion, set goals for it, go all out to complete it, act, act, act again, the dream is getting closer and closer.

Just like the job that De Heis finally chose, he brought his real feelings in the process of caring for Philip into the production of the rehabilitation scaffold, and through his help, he helped more "Philip" face a new life.

On the other end of the passion, there must be someone who will benefit from our tireless efforts. Dreams can come true and find value, and our lives now have real meaning.
