Hayao Miyazaki's works all make people feel that the protagonist is ordinary or even unattractive at first, but the more he goes on, the better and more charming he becomes.
At first, I felt that Xiaochun was very ordinary looking, late for love, and had no concept of time. But there are stories about saving cats and feeding cats when I was a child, and I think Xiaochun is too cute. Xiaochun went from losing herself to finding herself, and growing herself into a self-made and punctual girl, which gave me a sense of substitution that I could do too. Come on~
After reading this and the fairy tales of the years in an afternoon, I still prefer Hayao Miyazaki's works.
