"Spin Down"

In this world, everyone has a score of 0-5, people above 4.5 will have priority, and people rate each other, so everyone try to get a high score, and be polite to others, so as not to get a low score. And earn high scores by poing your own good life. The heroine just wanted to get a high score, but a certain foul language broke out, causing her score to drop directly, and she suddenly lost a lot of rights in this world. And the speech at the wedding made her directly kicked out of the rules of the game.

I think this is very similar to the formation of morality. In the real world, things like virtue have always been maintained, and swearing and rudeness are considered bad. But in the end, in prison, the heroine can also speak swear words freely, and there is no need to maintain that kind of beauty.

Really American, less depth and more length. The plot is so ordinary

(8/10) Favorite last two episodes. The first episode has the most characteristics of the previous seasons, and the second half of the American drama is more colorful, especially the last episode is more like "X-Files" rather than "Black Mirror". The healing style of episode 4 goes against the theme of "Black Mirror" in the past, and if you want to be cured, you can just watch the sci-fi chicken soup movie.

Nosedive quotes

  • Lacie: Don't shit on me for aiming higher.

    Ryan: Pelican Cove higher?

Lacie: What's wrong with Pelican Cove? They're great apartments!

Ryan: They are fake-smile jail cells!

  • Truck Driver: Eight years ago, Tom, my husband, got cancer. It was pancreatic, a real bitch. The symptoms showed up late.

    Lacie: I'm so sorry.

Truck Driver: You don't know me, so you're not really sorry. You're just mainly awkward 'cause I have sprung some cancer talk at you.
