This is the present we face naked, not the future

The third season of Black Mirror, I don't care if it inherits the original style, I only care about the content and the way it is expressed. Compared with the previous two seasons, this season is closer to reality. For example, the third episode does not involve any cutting-edge technology at all, but it also makes everyone feel less interesting and less magical; this season focuses more on describing a problem in depth A phenomenon, such as the reflection on VR in the second episode, also makes everyone feel deja vu, and there is no aftertaste when watching the movie. This season, Black Mirror is more committed to starting from a real problem and moving forward a little to see how it develops to the extreme. For example, in the sixth episode of the Internet personal attack, the steps are not big, but the constant is the concern for human nature, morality and Thinking of human tool technology.

I know why I don't like this season, because what this season says, it all happens naked around us, every episode is slapped in the face of piapiapia.

Single-episode evaluation:
S3E1, the idea is very good, the line of the heroine's speech at the wedding is too bad, the ending is unsatisfactory, Samsung.

S3E2, the most fearful thing is this kind of rhythm that is actually nothing but scary. The sensory experience is great, the padding is too long in the front, and the craftsmanship in the back is too heavy. The advantage is that it shows the inevitable tragedy in the not-too-distant future. Three and a half.

S3E3, who has no faults, but can change? A gentleman is cautious. Too much bloody reality, three and a half stars.

S3E4: The idea is amazing, the whole episode has the texture of "Her", it's my favorite episode of the first six episodes of the season. Immortal in the virtual world after death, living with a young life. People who were happy during their lifetimes are still happy, and those who were confused during their lifetimes are still confused. Changing a medium will not change the essence of a person. It is not so much the use of memory therapy as the use of hope: the hope of never getting old and dying, the hope of starting anew. The rhythm was a little slower in the front, and the dispute between Kelly and Yorkie in the back was supposed to deepen the theme, but the reason was still a little lackluster. Another question is: why do people always think about being young, and what's wrong with getting old? Four stars.

S3E5: The first half is extremely mediocre and boring, and it becomes interesting at the dialogue between the officer and the male protagonist's small room. First, classification is not only the basis of human survival, but also the shortcut to human extinction. Second, elitism, how is the quality of genes determined? The "bad" genes are gone, and the genes are pure, will it bring greater disaster? Third, the second episode of VR is full VR, and this episode is similar to wearables. The last wife the male protagonist sees in VR may just be a product created by VR. Such virtual reality is more deceptive. In the end, appearance is really important, and those who look like cockroaches will be eliminated; if all you see are beautiful and handsome guys, will you have the heart to start? Three and a half.

S3E6: This is the episode with the temperament of the first and second seasons of Black Mirror, including a duration of 90 minutes, and the volume is enough to tell a complete narrative story. How is hatred created? Two dimensions: first, unwavering belief in one's own values; second, low tolerance. What kind of person should die? What is the standard of personal attack? What is the meaning of #tag#? The content of this episode can be revisited at any time and anywhere. Where there are people, there are groups, and where there are groups, there are emotions. Because the ending gives this episode a special star, the murderer, regardless of the purpose of moral education, will eventually be "hunted down" by the law, and the hacker who wants to moralize cannot occupy the moral commanding heights. Five stars.

  • Lacie: Don't shit on me for aiming higher.

    Ryan: Pelican Cove higher?

Lacie: What's wrong with Pelican Cove? They're great apartments!

Ryan: They are fake-smile jail cells!

  • Truck Driver: Eight years ago, Tom, my husband, got cancer. It was pancreatic, a real bitch. The symptoms showed up late.

    Lacie: I'm so sorry.

Truck Driver: You don't know me, so you're not really sorry. You're just mainly awkward 'cause I have sprung some cancer talk at you.
