Humanity and Art

Excellent human movie. All the suppressed desires at the lower levels of emotions burst out, the struggle between good and evil in human nature. Seemingly high-sounding pseudo-justice and a war of religion and sexuality. Break through all taboos and shackles. The artistry is very high.

Kate's performance is very real and natural, the priest's faith and self-binding, Sade's ego and talent, and the old man's vanity and shrewdness. Each one is a living and distinct individual and deserves five likes.

Life is like this, it is difficult to balance, the struggle between reality and ideal, the contest between good and evil. There are very few people who can live out themselves and break the taboos.
