In fact, the final outcome is still a multiple-choice question, whether you lied to the policewoman or has been lying to yourself. It's all possible, I prefer to believe that the male protagonist does have 4 slave personalities, and he deceives himself to play. There are still details to support. Doctors don't give perjury. Kissing his girlfriend in a nightclub, and then the next day his girlfriend's ignorance can still be seen. I even thought it was incredible that my girlfriend was on the ship together at the end. Maybe he imagined it, and it was upgraded from 4th to 5th.
This film reminds me of Wushuang, and I think it must have been affected. Regarding multiple personalities, I think the best one is Hong Kong's Liu Qingyun's detective.
