She has been challenging the bottom line of trust, and Elizabeth is always pure and willing to trust everyone around her. Probably because of her naivety, she was able to return to her original place without hindrance.
The ending is so beautiful. The woman who had been away for more than 300 days returned to the key restaurant and ordered a new plate of blueberry pie. They are equally intelligent individuals, so they can wait until the day they fit. Jeremy kissed the cream from her lips in her sleep, and it was all clear again. It wasn't hard to cross that street after all , it all depends on who's waiting for you on the other side.
