Blessed are the lonely

Blueberry's Cass lineup is strong, but the sense of surprise is mediocre. Wong Kar-wai is still the same Wong Kar-wai. All the elements that Wong's films should have are as usual. They are still colorful pictures, characters' inner monologues, playful lines, and specific props. Ambiguous music. After watching the whole film, I can only say that there is not much novelty, and there is not much disappointment.

The film is deconstructed in three sections, with Nora Jones choosing to travel far to escape emotional trauma. Along the way, she encounters all kinds of people, listens to their respective emotional experiences, and finally achieves a positive result, transforms and rebirth, and finds true love. The plot is not very attractive, and the props that hold things together have changed from canned pineapples to blueberry pie. If canned pineapples that will expire represent volatile feelings, then blueberry pie may be a new attempt to bid farewell to the past. I don't know if I've become realistic, or if Pharaoh just fiddled with those lines over and over again, the original offensive lines with deep meaning always sounded a bit deliberately hypocritical now.

What impressed me most about the whole film was the acting skills of several leading actors. Although Nora Jones's performance was still a bit immature, it was just right for the character's restrained and delicate character; Jude Law's role was a little bland. Chi; Rachael Waits and David Strathairn's play is brilliant; Natalie Portman's rebellious and unruly woman is amazing, and she keeps teaching Jones something "to do things with people." "The truth is, but some people's characters are destined to be pure, and in the end Jones bought his beloved car, and the two parted ways at a fork in the road. I subconsciously thought of Wong Kar Wai's classic line with a certain sense of fate, "Every day you have the opportunity to pass someone else's shoulder, you may not know anything about him, but maybe one day, he may become your friend or confidant"... ...

"Blessed are the Lonely People" in a lyric that sings "Blessed are those who save themselves". Several protagonists in the film are frustrated people in their lives, but in the end, they all completed "self-saving" in their own ways. At the end of the film, in the interspersed shot of ice cream melting into the blueberry pie, the two completed a romantic cream kiss and a happy ending. Although this film is played as a couple in the Christmas stalls, it is not tasteful to watch it alone.

  • Elizabeth: When you're gone, all that is left behind are the memories you created in other people's lives or just a couple of items on a bill.

  • Leslie: Sometimes your rhythm's off, you read the person right but still do the wrong thing.

    Elizabeth: Because you trust them?

Leslie: Because you can't even trust yourself.
