I admire Van Gogh, a genius abandoned by the world, a lonely soul, an achievement and an unbearable weight. But going back to the movie, I can only give this score because of the discomfort it gave me.
1. The expression of the movie is more thoughtful, but it does not match the plot at all;
2. Forcibly integrate the painting into the plot scene, only achieve the integration of the appearance, without considering whether the plot is consistent with the original core of the painting;
3. The plot is based on the narration of many of Van Gogh's old friends before his death, which caused the Rashomon of his death, but the loopholes are obvious, the logic is not scrutinized, and the problems such as people's inability to set up are quite obvious.
4. This form caused me discomfort while watching the film, I could not feel the beauty of the film at all, and it was also a kind of damage to Van Gogh's paintings.
