During the US peacekeeping mission in Bosnia and Herzegovina, a Hornet fighter plane carrying out a reconnaissance mission was shot down by terrorists. A pilot was killed and a navigator and pilot was able to escape. The commander of the aircraft carrier was preparing to rescue him. Just when he was about to set off, he ordered no reckless action because the upper level was afraid of destroying the signing of the peace agreement. In particular, the navigator could not confirm that it was the Croats who shot down the fighter and pursued him. It is still the armed forces of the Serbs. The commander was very anxious and could only tell the navigator to run towards the safe zone but could not help. By chance, he remembered that he could report the matter to the media to arouse the attention of the upper echelons and the public. Unexpectedly, after the matter was announced, the upper management was worried that this matter would affect the timetable for the withdrawal of NATO peacekeeping troops, so they were forced to send someone to replace the commander to take over the matter. At the same time, the navigator relied on his wit and bravery to throw off the enemy and head towards the safe zone. During an escape, the navigator put the flight suit on a rebel corpse and exchanged clothes with it to escape. The rebels knew that this was not the navigator's body, but still leaked to the media and demanded the exchange of hostages. The upper level decided to cancel the rescue plan after seeing the media news. At this time, the navigator had already seen the rescue team's helicopter. Due to a sudden order, the helicopter turned back in front of the pilot. The navigator was very frustrated, and his communication equipment was broken. At this moment he suddenly saw a statue with a navigator and film under the statue. The navigator can transmit radio waves for help. If someone rescues and takes away the film, the mission is completed and the comrades will not die in vain. So the navigator re-energized and embarked on the journey. He succeeded. But the terrorists did not give up. They chased him like wolves. At the last critical juncture, the commander and soldiers risked their lives and came to save him regardless of the superiors' orders. He was saved and his morale boosted. The navigator also dispelled the idea of preparing to retire before the mission, but the commander retired early and left the aircraft carrier under his command. This film shows the military style of the US military, with praise, ridicule, regret and helplessness.
