The beauty of the Black Mirror series lies in the use of technology to reflect on human nature, which is particularly well done in the Christmas special. A bunch of people only care about the plot of being a father and completely ignore the deepest thinking in this episode, is there still human rights after consciousness is separated from the body? Is it true that Matt said "It's not real human, so it's not real barbaric"? A cookie is a person, she/he has a complete self-awareness, why should he be imprisoned and enslaved?
After the theme is finished, let’s talk about the plot. The three stories have unexpected parts, and they are all under the big frame of the cabin. The whole story is a big reversal. In terms of performance, the two protagonists have completely different personalities, and both perform very well. Jon Hamm is really handsome. He has been handsome all his life. He is tall and handsome. The characters like the negotiator who is essentially a big liar are played very well; Rafe Spall is not as famous as Jon, but it is also very delicate, and the innocent little eyes hiding behind the tree is really heartbreaking... The ending is especially cruel, for both of them. Individuals are eternal hell... why is this?
