Yesterday, I watched the Christmas special of "Black Mirror". It was a little longer than the mini-series a few years ago, so the integrity of the story is also stronger. This story is very interesting. The main plot is a story about a person who uses other people's copy of consciousness to break the psychological defense line of others to get the other party to explain the details of the crime and solve the case. The so-called copy of consciousness is that through surgery, people's consciousness can be copied and placed in a mini egg with a chip carrier. Interestingly, you can talk to the copy of consciousness, and you can adjust its time perception and environment perception. Said to achieve the purpose of complete control. This kind of black technology has absolute two sides. If it is used for the good, it is an advanced version of artificial intelligence. If it is used for the bad, it is hard to say (I can't think of such a simple brain). There are two applications shown in the play, one is home artificial intelligence, which has functions such as wake up, toasting, scheduling, etc., and fully invokes your consciousness to serve you; the second is to create a virtual environment for criminal investigation. At first glance, these two applications are very positive, but they actually involve a question: Is human consciousness equivalent to human beings? That is, if you have exactly the same thoughts, personality, and way of thinking as yourself, that is, the activities in the abstract sense are exactly the same, is this person your original self?
If it is, then the act of manipulating the copy of consciousness to achieve its purpose is both against morality and against the law; if not, why can such a copy of consciousness replace us? I feel a headache thinking about this problem. Thinking about it carefully, a person's own physiological structure and ideology are fundamentally inseparable. In the play, it is believed that the copy of consciousness is only data and code, but it is obvious that the "character" in the egg has its own How can data and code have their own thoughts and feelings. It's a weird and terrifying thing to think about the characters created in Westworld having their own minds. So where does awareness come from? Can it really be copied? As far as my current cognition is concerned, it is impossible to copy consciousness completely in the form of code. Unless one day our brain is composed of data and code, what is the difference between us and robots? I was terrified, and hoped that day would never come. Jack Ma's father said that in the next 30 years, if you don't learn piano, chess, calligraphy and painting, you will not find a job. The world is always changing, and I always face the changes every day with anticipation and anxiety. Finally, I recommend everyone to watch this brilliant drama, and welcome to discuss it together.
