On Industrial Society and Its Future

Ted is an extremely intelligent person, but unfortunately lacks wisdom, which ultimately leads to personal and social tragedy. I personally believe that wisdom comes from insight into human nature. Ted tried to declare his ideal to the society. Through his terrorist actions that lasted for more than ten years, he would not hesitate to sacrifice other people's lives and his own life to achieve this ideal. He thought that he was fighting against the system and development of society's sinking, and took this idea as a proof of his existence value. His "On Industrial Society and the Future" is indeed well written, and may indeed bring some reflection to some people. But is it really worth taking some people and his own life? Let's talk about my opinion-- Society comes from individuals . Social systems do have a great impact on people, and so does technology. But if you want to fight against or even reverse the entire system by yourself, what is the internal motivation? It is really out of love that you want to make this society and the world a better place, why not start with your own life and the people you love around you? Self-cultivation, balancing the family, governing the country and the world, escaping from family and friends, but trying to change the society, IMHO, this is just escapism and self-righteousness. But this is Ted's psychological defense mechanism to escape and comfort himself. As long as he doesn't hurt others, it's fine. The problem is that he hurt and killed a lot of people. Maybe he didn't realize what he had done until he heard the victim speak at the end of the trial? My idea is - society comes from individuals, it is good to want to change society, but please lead by example and start with your own life, start with caring for yourself, your family and friends. The future comes from the present Everyone has a past and made mistakes. Ted is trapped by the hurt of the past, unable to see that the past is gone. And now he still cares about his family (though he doesn't know him), and there are women and boys in his life who want to be friends with him. He could start over, build a new life, and learn from simple relationships. 53 and still a virgin, so what? The "now" can always start over, and the future comes from the present. Who says the future can't be beautiful? However, Ted is trapped in the past. Maybe he needs people who really understand him to care about him and guide him out. Unfortunately, there is no such person by his side, or maybe he shut himself up and rejected others and the universe. s help. A person who is trapped in the past and unable to live in the present, what future is there to speak of? His future can only be a copy of the past. Therefore, what he said about the future is just an illusion and consolation. An excuse he used to fight others and say that others were wrong and he was right. Freedom is in the heart, not in the system We all live in an imperfect world and society. The social system is not established by a single individual, but a balanced mechanism developed by the majority of people, which is how the current society operates. We are indeed only part of the cog in the workings of society, and this society is indeed full of control and full of injustice. so what? Is your existence and freedom impossible to survive and free under such restrictions? My question is - are you deprived of your breath? Are your hands and feet tied? Live in the forest without working and spend every day with nature. Where is he not free? Yes, we're going to stop at a red light while driving on the road. But that is to let the drivers have a common standard and tacit understanding, at least not to rush around, and to protect the personal safety of some people. If I see that there are no cars and no police nearby late at night, I will also run a red light. So I don't understand where is the constraint? So my view is that the conditioning is in the mind and not in the system. If your heart is free, what about external institutional constraints? To a certain extent, there is still room for flexibility and leisure. Obviously, you are living in the past and living in constraints, treating yourself as a victim, and then harming others. You have to say that you are not free and you want to fight against the society. If you fight and prove that you are right, will you be free? A good play has a main "proposition", and this proposition is the theme that the director wants to express through the play. It's a pity that this drama tries to explore the society as well as the heart (Episode 6). Which is the main proposition? I think the choreographer didn't think it through clearly. Looking at the struggle of the red light from the end of the protagonist Fitz, I was a little disappointed with the choreographer. If what they want to present is that the confrontation with the constraints of the social system is still constrained in the end, then it seems that they still regard themselves as victims of the society, which may resonate with the public and gain some ratings, but cannot help human consciousness and deeper understanding. Contribute to the discussion of human nature. In my opinion, in this drama, I only saw the tragic life of one person. Poor and hateful. The fact that the protagonist Fizz adores him and resonates with him can only illustrate his similarities with Ted, not his superiority. I can totally understand why his wife wants him to leave. He is quite selfish when taking his family, friends and colleagues without considering other people's feelings and only caring about his own sense of accomplishment. Wisdom may make a person successful, but wisdom can make a person happy and make the people around him happy. It's a pity that I only saw intelligence in this drama, not wisdom.

After a quiet antisocial monologue, the bomb suddenly exploded. Just this beginning is enough to catch people and amazing.

Paul, you have played the anti-social personality again. Orz. It seems that the movie is not going well, so I have come to play the TV series. Orz. I don’t like the shooting technique and the pharaohs. Please see the Discovery logo in the lower right corner. Thank you.
