Mrs March was a kind and strong woman, an excellent wife and mother. It was not easy for her to raise her four daughters independently. There are two scenes in the movie, one is that they have a very difficult neighbor family, and at Christmas time, she takes her daughters to the neighbor's house to give her breakfast to the neighbor. Another scene is when Mrs. March was at work, an old man went to get supplies to visit his son who joined the army. She saw that the old man's clothes were thin, so she secretly hid her scarf in the supplies and gave it to the old man. You must know that in the war years, their family's materials were not rich, but she was still willing to give her things to those who needed it more. A person who has ten dollars and is willing to give a dollar to others is different from a person who is willing to give a dollar to others with ten thousand dollars. The former requires greater courage and kindness, while the latter may just be out of a charity and game mentality. Teaching by example is better than words. When you see such a mother, you will understand why her four daughters are so kind and independent.
