2020.3.20 Watching Movies has always been obsessed with movies. After saving for a long time, "Little Women" finally made time to watch it, but since I only watched "Pride and Prejudice" a while ago, when I watched this movie, I can't help but connect them. They are all female-dominated. The heroine's family is ordinary. She also has many sisters. The eldest sister Jane and Meg are similar, and they both dream of being a good wife; Elizabeth and Joe are both ideological comparisons. Independent; Mary, like Beth, is quiet and not very present, and Lydia and Katie have similar personalities to Amy. The male characters also have a wealthy male protagonist. At the beginning of "Little Women", I was particularly fond of Joe and Raleigh, but I don't know why Joe rejected Raleigh's proposal, which is a bit regretful. Joe had a writing dream, and later went to New York to pursue his own writing dream and separated from Raleigh. Because of this, Qiao met the other half he favored. After watching the film, I appreciate Qiao's bravery and independence. In order to realize his dream, he went to a foreign country alone. The dream came true, and of course he also gained beautiful love.

Little Women quotes

  • Josephine 'Jo' March: Doesn't he have a noble brow? If I were a boy I'd want to look just like that.

  • Jo March: I find it poor logic to say that because women are good, women should vote. Men do not vote because they are good; they vote because they are male, and women should vote, not because we are angels and men are animals, but because we are human beings and citizens of this country.

Mr. Mayer: You should have been a lawyer, Miss March.

Jo March: I should have been a great many things, Mr. Mayer.
