Another angle: can we give our children a complete education

After watching the movie on the plane and reading some movie reviews after landing, I feel that there is nothing to add about the perspective of people on the edge of PTSD, but I have some feelings from the perspective of education.

The final separation between father and Tom should be impossible in our cultural system. This is not in line with the traditional difference - two people are healthy, they care about each other, and the father and daughter are deeply in love. There is nothing wrong with the appearance, why should they be separated?

The traditional voice should say this:

What child, how can you be so unfilial when you leave your father alone in the jungle?

What father, for the sake of the child, bear for a while, and why not have passed?

Yeah, that's the difference between cultures. Tolerance and filial piety are largely based on the great sacrifice of personal interests.

The difference in this film, on the surface, is unfilial and unbearable, but it does bring salvation and integrity to the soul.

Judging from the communication between Tom and people, he is just a little shy and unskilled, not withdrawn. She needs to communicate and needs society.

But the father's pain and unwillingness to speak, saw that his heart was like a door closed from the inside, and he had to open it with his own hands, otherwise it would be difficult to accept others.

Although the two are deeply in love, they are separated by a Pacific Ocean in their hearts.

The veteran father's education for Tom was undoubtedly successful. He must let her observe more, have independent thoughts, and feel herself like nature. That's why Tom knew his father from the bottom of his heart, knowing that he was so unable to integrate into the society, and he longed to be in contact with the society. And the best solution to these is to let go, turn around, and the two souls go in different directions, rather than torturing each other in a muddled way.

With such transparency, I not only ask myself, can I give birth to such a baby, but can I also educate it?
