The day before the National Day this year, during the day, my sister posted a few pictures of my niece eating popcorn and playing in the playground, which suddenly aroused my desire to go to the cinema. I taught the students in the evening, and I came to the classroom to play the movie. So, I reviewed the movie with the whole class again, which was considered to be satisfied with the sudden thoughts during the day.
I don’t know if it’s because of my age or I have some thoughts about life after graduation. When I watched this drama again, I found that the movie has a lot of thinking about human nature, but I passed it by in a flash. During the whole viewing, my heart was sad. I even said, "The rich man who took risks in the film was killed, and I chose to watch this film by myself."
I have never understood what kind of person who loves challenges, adventures, and extreme sports is. What about love and power? Knowing that every attempt or experience is closely followed by death, but still unwilling to turn back, where does the determination and strength to do it even at the risk of death come from? What is the meaning of life to them? Just to see a different scenery, breathe a different air, feel a different heartbeat, even if you die the next moment?
Or are they more of a pursuit of the joy of the rest of their lives? Going on an adventure with a chance of survival?
Once, I also wanted to do some adventure sports such as climbing the Himalayas, rock climbing, etc., but after watching this film, I gave up those thoughts. For me, I love life, and safety is my first consideration. Will choose safe adventure sports, such as roller coasters, jumping machines, high-altitude bungee jumping...
I think life is precious, don't be stupid and self-righteous, joke with your life, and never make fun of your life.
