I hope I can see you every time I die————The middle review of "The Wrist Cutters' Paradise"

It is another successful independent film and another successful road movie, mainly relying on the plot to win! The lighthearted and humorous style makes the original deep and grand theme of life so intimate.
From religion to philosophy, from IQ to emotional intelligence, this film keeps ejecting some bizarre but also things that we often think of when we are in a daze. I don't know what many plot directors think in it, but I am sure That is the entrance created by the director to highlight some of his views on life. I have limited self-knowledge, so I can't dissect the film here, but I have a few thoughts to share here.
Zia cleaned up her messy room before committing suicide, tidied herself up like she was going out for an interview, and then ended her life. When he was in another world, he looked so messy again, he couldn't escape his failure and he couldn't break free from everything that was attached to him. The most unfortunate thing I usually think of has happened, people continue to live after death, keep dying, and keep living again, the more damage that keeps dying, the greater the harm, we cannot escape some tragic things!
The book Zia read is "Eve, A Woman With No Scars". It can be seen that Zia is looking for love that does not need to be afraid (also the title), not much to say.
The film is over, and the name of the place where they stayed has not been mentioned once, but just kept repeating "this place".
From the time Eugene appeared to the time he boarded the train, there was a huge and slow change in his character. Not only in character, he used the guitar to commit suicide at the beginning, then he did nothing in that place, and then after meeting the mute girl Nuuk, he regained his love for music.
Appearance of Mikal: Mikal, a mysterious girl. She's like an angel sent by God to make that place a little bit different, like she changed the signage, and like she simulated a smiley face in that place (everyone who's seen it knows it's not a place to laugh). Mikal is the object of Zia's love, or rather, the trigger for Zia's rebirth when she learns of "love". The hazy feeling of love between her and Zia is in inevitable conflict with Zia's love for her ex-girlfriend. Even later, Zia paced back and forth between the love of the past and the love of the present, which also made him reconsider the relationship between the past and the present and the philosophical issues of taking pictures after death and taking pictures after resurrection. . .
That world is a bit like an ideal kingdom. If I were to name it, I would say it is a mysterious utopia full of mystery, because there seems to be more humanistic care there than in the present world!
Full of mystery, manifested in people in charge, where people are ruled by an unknown government organization! It also highlights: we cannot escape something tragic!
Due to time reasons, come here first, and the changes are being added. . .
