Lonely killer? Bloody twins?

I watched this film entirely because of my love for Nico.
Every development of the plot is completely predictable. The tenderness of a killer leads him to a dead end. Having chosen this profession, it should be as ruthless and carefree as he was before. At the beginning, when he monologues about life without friends and identity, he foresees the continuation of the plot and the beginning of the tragedy.
I thought it was an American blockbuster, and there would be some wonderful scenes or scenes, but there were no surprises at all. At the beginning of the film, I felt that Nico was really old, not haggard but old-fashioned. When I watched it again, I kept thinking of "Blood and Blood", and thought that "Blood and Blood" was much more exciting than this one. In terms of character creation, Chow Yun-fat's character is still vivid in my mind today, but Nico is just repeating the pain and tenderness in "Change Face", and there is nothing new to worry about. Alas~~~~
The lonely killer, maybe he prefers this way of ending his life, so he shouldn't regret it. Compared with the final death, the loneliness made him more physically and mentally exhausted. Otherwise, why would there be sudden changes, longing for friendship and love, and even ruining lives.

Bangkok Dangerous quotes

  • Joe: Where there's money, there's competition and the guy paying me usually wins.

  • Joe: [Narrating, prior to performing an assassination in Prague] My job takes me to a lot of places. It's got its down sides: I sleep alone. I eat alone. I'm used to it, though. I'd like to meet someone. But it's tough when you live out of a suitcase. I go where I'm told... do what I'm told. I shouldn't complain. The work is steady. The money's good. But it's not for everyone.

Joe: [Again narrating, after he's completed the "hit"] My name is Joe. This is what I do.
