Needless to say Enough Said

I watched this film on a boring morning. When I am comfortable, I always like to watch warm movies, and it is a movie that must have sunshine. Some people say that this is a middle-aged movie, but I don’t feel bored at all when I watch this movie.
I often think, when choosing the other half, if you cannot have both, should you pay more attention to the outside or the inside? It turns out that this is actually not a question with a standard answer. Albert is obviously hard to fall in love with at first sight. Eva didn't look at him at the party, but when she talked about Albert later, she said: The more I talk to him, the more sexy I find him. When I see this, I deeply feel the importance of personality charm. People often pursue a glamorous appearance, but a cute personality can also produce a powerful attraction.
The relationship between Eva and Albert developed very quickly, dating, joking, having sex, everything was sweet and romantic. But there was a terrible factor of instability. Eva and Albert's ex-wife Marianne became friends. This successful poet kept complaining to Eva about how fat, lazy and boring her ex-husband was, and Eva thought her ex-husband was a scumbag man. As a result, the ex-husband is actually Albert. Although Eva had been denying it all the time, she was still inevitably influenced by Marianne and began to pick Albert's sting on some trivial matters, which made Albert feel embarrassed and puzzled. Why is the description of Marianne so different from the Albert that Eva came into contact with? Everyone has a different shape. Maybe it doesn't fit this person, but it doesn't leave a gap with another person. When I encounter things, I usually find the reasons from my own body. I feel disgusted when I encounter Marianne's chattering like this. After all, Albert is the man she once chose. Together they stepped into the palace of marriage and raised a lovely daughter together. As a result, But I can only see the unsatisfactory look of the ex-husband. This is also a denial to myself. But I really like Marianne's garden, which is well taken care of, healthy and vibrant.
I can still understand Eva's transformation. More or less, everyone will be affected by others. Don't we just influence each other to live? Later, Eva found out that her ex-husband was also complaining and accusing others when talking about her, but in her opinion, this is not the case at all. It turns out that everyone judges others from their own standpoint. In the end, she followed her heart and ran to Albert's house to apologize after the little secret was revealed, hoping to be forgiven. When Albert said he felt very old-fashioned but still had to say You broke my heart, I really thought he was so cute. Although they broke up, I think their handling is really good and mature. Although both sides are still very affectionate, but can't handle the problem well, they are separated for a period of time rationally. After calming down, you will realize your mistakes and grow up. This is the right way to deal with a relationship. If there is fate, we will get together again. Well, Eva and Albert met again on Thanksgiving, and they still liked each other.
Needless to say, maybe I want to tell us not to keep complaining, accusing, or listening to others complaining and accusing, the best way to face and feel yourself. There are many concepts and attitudes in the film that are worth learning, and it is a great thing to be able to pursue love and happiness without any hesitation at their age, and to regard oneself as an independent personality and individual.
Write a movie watching log for the first time, feel free to be more casual.

Enough Said quotes

  • Will: Eva was telling me that there are no men at this party that she's attractred to.

Albert: That's OK, there's no one here I'm attracted to either.

  • Albert: So while you were, uh, being torn, she was poisoning our relationship and poisoning your perception of me. Now why would you want that?

Eva: I don't know, I mean, except maybe I was trying to protect myself, you know, because, you know, we've both been married before. And you know how things can turn out.

Albert: What about us? What about protecting us?

    Eva: I didn't protect us.
