"The Secret of Pets 2", which is still good at using pets to sell cute and lovable, can be said to continue the essence of "Pet", but also this movie, like the previous work, did not bring a story that is touching enough. On the contrary, it is in the Narratively, the development of the three-line narrative gives it a more abundant plot at first glance, but the film is ultimately unable to condense it into one, which makes the film's core of growth seem to be superficial.

From 1 to 2. The advantage of "Love Pets" is that the movie knows very well how to provoke the pet owners' laughter, and it can also start from the pet's habits and give the characters a character setting that fits their identity. From cats and dogs with distinct personalities, to the villain in the first film, the high-profile Rabbit Xiaobai, they still continue to create laughs and cuteness in this film, and "The Pet 2" is not Unambitious in nature, the use of multiple narratives, and the larger picture show the film trying to make up for the known deficiencies of the first film.

It is a pity, however, that the unsuccessful multi-line narrative has become the biggest criticism of this sequel. At the beginning, this movie made people mistakenly focus on the relationship between the dog Mike and the child. Join Mike to come to the countryside, Rabbit Xiaobai is eager to become a superhero, Pomeranian tweeted how to "be a cat", the three clues are integrated to save the tiger, fight the villain, but unfortunately, in the end, "The Pet 2" did not consider it at all. The animal trainer villain wasted a lot of ink and ink, and he was just passed by hastily.

Looking at the whole film, you will find that although the film can be clearly divided into three parts, the connection between the stories is very far-fetched. The three stories are almost independent of each other, and these stories except for Mike the dog. Outside of the line, the biggest role is to sell cuteness, and Lighting Entertainment, which tasted the sweetness of Minions, seems to have lost the ability to consider the rationality of the plot in the later development of this movie. The whole story ends up looking fraught with disunity.

The inability to control the multi-line narrative does not only cause the plot to become incoherent, but the deep-seated impact is that the core of the film's intended expression loses its appeal. A cute and stupid picture makes laughter, but it does not resonate with a certain snack in the movie, whether it is growth or bravery, or the movie's criticism of circus animal taming, these points are all part of this. The foundation of the film is particularly important, but in the end it was just an anticlimactic thing.

In terms of production, Lighting Entertainment is actually not inferior to Disney's animated films, but from the plummeting reputation of the "Despicable Me" series to the various problems of "The Secret Life of Pets 2", people can see that a cute word Not a concealer that hides everything.
