campus love

I watched "Listen with My Ear" because I haven't watched Jun Miyazaki's cartoons for a long time. Its theme song "TAKE ME HOME COUNTRY ROADS" is very familiar to me. Lisa Ono sang it, but the original singer checked the information is John Denver.

This is a story about a junior high school student's puppy love. I remembered that I didn't fall in love with anyone when I was in junior high school, and I didn't have a relationship with anyone in high school. I just had a crush on a certain classmate in elementary school. When I was in junior high school, there were also several male and female classmates with good grades who were in love. The students with good grades were always precocious and attracted attention. Maybe they are also reading books in the library to encourage and help each other, or go on a bicycle trip to climb Wangyuan and make a lifelong commitment. I played such a story many years later than them, but it is a lot more gratifying to think that some classmates with lower emotional intelligence have never been in love after studying for a lifetime.

Whisper of the Heart quotes

  • Shiho: Tidy up quickly and take that lunch box to Dad.

    Shizuku: What?

Shiho: What do you mean by that tone? You're going to the library, right? Or shall I go instead? Then you can clean the toilet, the bathroom, and the entryway too, and go to the co-op for me. And take in the futons, do the shopping, and prepare dinner.

    Shizuku: Goodbye!

  • Seiji: Shizuku, I just wanted to let you know I really liked your lyrics. You're a really talented writer.

Shizuku: Just the other day you said they were corny.

Seiji: Oh, did I really say that?

    Shizuku: Seiji!

    Seiji: I'm sorry.

Shizuku: Ha! You're forgetful too. See you later!
