In the first half of the paragraph, when I saw Dan and his family, I suddenly thought that many "ordinary" people who are not wealthy can have their own simple happiness, but why are people who pursue a rich life always unhappy? Is it too ambitious? Is it an urban disease of modern people?
But it was only for a few moments before those thoughts drifted through.
As the plot progresses, the burden of survival becomes the burden of survival on the weak. Yes this world is not good at all for the elderly, the sick and the poor.
So maybe moderation is the truth of the world?
