Watching the movie reminds me countless times of how I felt when I was in New Zealand. Although I am far from being so miserable (just a working trip), the whole environment, the struggles of the people around you (based on fragile details for survival), and the entire modern mechanism are chilling. I, Daniel Blake quotes

  • Daniel: It's a monumental farce, isn't it? You sitting there with your friendly name tag on your chest, Ann, opposite a sick man looking for nonexistent jobs, that I can't take anyway. I've had enough. I want my date for my appointment for my appeal for Employment and Support.

  • Katie: I'm just really hungry.
