Underground, whose dream

I would call this film a work of genius.

I'm one of those people who doesn't really like to talk about talent, but Underground deserves those two words.

Like a huge, empty and real, beautiful and sad dream.

Ma Gao said that if there was no war, he would be a poet and go to the graves of the sages.

Hei Zai's wife gave birth to a child and was dying. Ivan cried and said "it will be okay", she said "it won't be okay".

A prophecy.

The world will be good?

A 1995 movie I'm watching in 2021.

During this period, I witnessed the new crown, economic downturn, unemployment, stock market crash, currency speculation, 996 death from overwork, racism prevailed, and Asians were discriminated against and shot to death.

Words heard a lot lately, involution, anxiety, PUA, Versailles.

Everyone is very angry.

The world seems to be changing, but it doesn't seem to be.

For the better, or for the worse.

I was shocked to see Marco betray Hei Zai and live on the surface with Natalie, leaving Hei Zai and his brother and everyone who believed in him underground.

In the middle of the film, Ma Gao is first seen dressed like an intellectual, solemnly reciting the words of the ribbon-cutting ceremony, and Natalie smiling charmingly beside him. I started to wonder.

The camera cuts to the apartment, and Ma Gao turns on the camera, watching Hei Zai sleeping with his eyes open, making fun of him.

Then Ma Gao and Natalie put on their wounded makeup and took the ladder to the wedding of Hei Zai's son.

Everything is fine. The bride wears a white wedding dress and slowly flies to the groom like an angel.

In the cellar, Natalie cried to Magao, "You're living a decent life on the ground while they've been working underground for you!"

I'm shivering.

Yes, they have been underground for twenty years. I always thought the war was not over. Always work hard to build weapons for the country they believe in and love.

Ironic.

The word "underground" here shows the real meaning behind it. Not just living in the physical underground.

When the pdd event came out last year, I've been looping "Can Good Things Happen to Me" by Constantine's Change Ball:

But what happened was never expected

What you really want is taken away by others

I didn't decide too many things, it's just like this today

Then it turned into a shitty mess

One more dose of hope to numb the pain

Can only go in, can't go back, can't carry it, can't put it down

had to go

Our half-dead life

There is no future as blessed as you

Our half-dead life

How did it go, how did it go

I understand them well. First a girl, then a junior. I also got off work at 12 o'clock every day and was lost in the accusations. I have also lived "underground".

Once simple, who was used. When the tide hits, who can escape.

The human narrative is repetitive, and fortunately, I have come to know it now and left.

But what about those who continue to live underground.

To put it a little bit more broadly, when I hit uber in the United States before and met a Chinese driver, he wanted to come to the United States to make money. He said in the chat that many Chinese people come here, but they don’t speak the language. Almost depressed.

Embrace the yearning for beauty, but see the deep darkness.

Only the truth can cut through it. This is probably the meaning of going to the field.

There's a lot more to this movie. Add it later.

A surreal magic classic! Seemingly absurd, how cruel the war and the lies after the war are to the group of people living underground, and the seemingly bright ending makes people feel extremely poignant and shocking!

Most good-looking epic movies don't have to know much about the history of the country to see it well, but this one needs to be understood first. Those who praise the film must understand that the director is not only very opposed to those who invade his homeland, but also quite dissatisfied with the Western hegemony such as the USA splitting their federation. There are many bastards in his motherland, including the revolutionaries themselves who are liars and lunatics (playing two male protagonists), and the bitterness and hatred between the various "nations" in the federation. This is true, but it is the culprit that caused the division of Yugoslavia. It is USA, and in his view, the culprit behind the chaos in the 21st century is also USA. Wenqing on both sides of the strait can't see this layer, but they give praise, which should be reflected. Why didn't the director express his hatred for USA? Because movies are so hard to do, movies are not books. And for him, it's not that he didn't say it clearly, it's your own situation. Unexplained reasons also involve humility towards the work. The reason why I didn't give five stars is that the characters in this film fell and bumped their heads too many times. In fact, the "stupid" rendering of the brass band is sufficient. When I first saw this film, I thought of "Bull Fighting". Bullfighting also takes the fantasy and epic style of fiction and reality. It is worth watching. Others, I will leave it in the long comment to talk about it.
