I've heard this name before, and it won the Palme d'Or in Cannes (Note) in 1995. However, as the talk of the helpless petty bourgeoisie who talk about the truth of discs in the name of talking about movies, the name is not so loud. Of course, this is also the reason why my generation and the petty bourgeoisie have not been interested in it.
The so-called truth, how much can we know?
There is a sentence on the cover of the disc "A story of the underground manufacture of weapons in Belgrade" (a story of a Belgrade underground arsenal), GOD! If someone who can sum up this film like this is not an idiot, then he must be a fellow with the director's heart.
In Belgrade during World War II, the fearless Comrade Marko fought his enemies with wit and courage, while hiding his comrades and compatriots in an incredible underground city. People here worked hard to produce weapons for the liberation of the motherland, and later even built a tank. Then, the war ended, and then, Comrade Tito died, and then the civil war in Yugoslavia began again... But people don't know anything about this, because the situation on the ground was brought by Comrade Marko, who told them The Nazis are still occupying the motherland. Yes, the air raid siren on the ground will still sound from time to time, although Comrade Marko may have just participated in the unveiling ceremony of the statue of the "sacrifice" comrade-in-arms in World War II with a heavy heart. Drink carefully, sing and dance lightly. Until a monkey got into the tank and shot down the wall. The "sacrificed" comrade-in-arms couldn't hold back his enthusiasm for fighting, and sneaked back into the world, but he happened to be shooting his biographical film. The "Nazi officer" who executed the execution "successfully" evacuated in the panic of the crew. The ongoing civil war confirmed what Comrade Marko had brought, and his comrades immediately went into battle for the "liberation of the motherland". At the end, people who have returned to the world continue their underground singing and dancing on a land that is drifting away with the flow of water, drifting further away...
Think of it as a story of Belgrade's underground arsenal, it will be very Simple, easy, and, right. But is it more like a fable, a fable about reality? It doesn't matter when and where, what exactly is the situation brought by "Comrade Marko" and what is "on the ground", what matters is, where are we? Our life, old age, sickness and death, our joys, sorrows and sorrows, are so real, as real as the earth under my feet, but where is this real life? When we talk about the "real" life, think about how ridiculous this "real" can be. Just like I thought I really understood this film, this "thinking" is really ridiculous.
For some reason, the film reminds me of the scene in "Bound to Heaven" where the girl and the "me" are on the tower of the lunatic asylum. If you've read that novel, you might agree too.
Note: I typed in the pinyin gā nà, but I couldn't find the "ga" next to the word without the spoken word. I checked the dictionary again and found that the word was jia, but they all pronounced ga.
