After reading The DressMaker, I want to write something.
The tags recommended to me are "art" and "revenge", and the ratings are not low. When I opened it, I accidentally pressed my hand for 20 minutes, and then I read it all the time. I watch a lot of movies on and off, and I rarely cry.
The protagonist is named Tilly, her mother is Molly, and the male protagonist is Teddy. The heroine returned to the small village after being framed for murder in her childhood and wanted to find out the truth of the matter, but her mother refused to recognize her. The heroine is needed by the villagers because of her superb tailoring skills, and they will not talk about her for the time being. When she got closer to the truth of the matter, she was bitten back by her teacher Biula. When Biola saw that Tilly was bullied in her childhood, she chose to close the curtains, and when Tilly gained everyone's trust, she made up lies, not for herself, but because of a man.
This man's child is called Stewart, he is much loved at home, bullying others in school, his favorite game is to rush to the stomach like a bull. Such a person would have been arrogant all his life under the protection of family and times, but he died, and when he died, Tilly was standing beside him. The teacher fabricated the whole process of Tilly's murder, vivid and detailed. Looking at the vivid testimony, the sheriff suspected that the teacher was lying, but at that time, everyone except Tilly had an alibi, so he had to take Tilly away. This guilt has been buried in the Sheriff's heart, and later helped Tilly a lot.
In the process of the heroine's investigation of the truth, the mother has been pretending not to know, but secretly matching the hero and heroine. Until Tilly discovered the loopholes in her testimony, but she was still speechless, her mother finally stopped pretending to be stupid, but looked at her calmly and said, "You shouldn't come back." It turned out that her previous actions were just to keep Tilly away from right and wrong. A place to live in a new place.
So what is the truth? Why is Tilly so speechless? A foolish (non-pejorative) partner was excitedly repeating a sentence from the moment he saw Tilly: "But she moved!" Only Stewart and Tilly were present. These clues are enough to reveal the truth, but the only witnesses are fools, and no one will believe a fool.
The male protagonist Teddy left with the injured Tilly. They decided not to let the past become the shackles of the present. Unexpectedly, the male protagonist died.
Tilly returned to her original village again. The male protagonist's mother didn't shout mad when she learned of the death, and convicted the female protagonist of murder, which made people feel relieved for a while, but then the villagers began to talk about it, they firmly believed It was Tilly's bad luck. Tilly was at her mother's house, heartbroken. Her mother encouraged her and paved the way for her. From the beginning of this paragraph, the tears were uncontrollable. "When you are most vulnerable, your mother will always stand up for you." During an outing, my mother fell to the ground due to a stroke and never woke up again.
The villagers want to win in the stage play, and Tilly turns down their requests and makes costumes for their opponents. As they went to perform outside the village, Tilly set fire to the village and left in a car. The conductor looked at the fire in the distance and thought it was burning garbage. After the conductor left, the heroine said, "You never meet the rubbish." At the end of the play.
The funniest part of the show is when the women wear Tilly's fancy clothes and curse her behind their backs. Desperately squeezing and exploiting the use value of others, they will not restrain until others counterattack. The most vicious people are dead, and they are still alive.
After watching this film, I was angry and helpless, and felt the need to write something to ease it.
