No matter how high-sounding the reason is, you can't whitewash one's sins. Desire is the devil, and the law enforcer who betrayed his soul is just a little devil in human skin. Although the plot of the movie is a bit old-fashioned, there is not much suspense. But the atmosphere was very tense, the scene of the gun battle was bloody and exciting, and finally justice was done. It was quite enjoyable to watch, not bad. The degree of completion is extremely high, the plot is compact and coherent, and it has a strong retro flavor. The realistic shooting rhythm and editing are excellent. It would be better if we could render a big scene on the 21 bridges of Manhattan Island, otherwise it will only appear top-heavy and superfluous. It's a pity Boseman, all the way.
