Eternal science fiction eternal time travel

Ever since I liked science fiction, I have known Star Trek. Only recently decided to start chasing this classic (before Star Trek 3 was released anyway), and then I found it was really messy, and it was a fight with Marvel. So simply starting from the oldest, looking down one by one, I also saw the seventh.
That day, I chatted with a person who was at least ten years older than me about a recent movie and TV series. She said that she would go after forensic doctor Qin Ming. It was pretty good. So I watched the next two episodes, and then I couldn't stand the male lead (zhuang) cold (bi), and the mistake that medical students could not tolerate, such as zhuang cold (bi) and akimbo after touching the corpse, and decisively abandoning the drama. As a result, I was despised by my sister, watched the excitement, watched the funny comparison, why are you so serious. So I was very narcissistic and said that I was chasing Star Trek, and I really liked that little monster with small horns. So I was despised again. It was a movie I had watched 20 years ago. It was called Spock, not Little Monster.
Watching a drama can never remember the face, let alone the name of the person, and most of them will forget even the plot. Now recall the first six, and only remember what kind of whale they went back in time to save, and then this kind of whale could save the earth.
In Part 7, Kirk died, and the Enterprise was buried. In the eighth part, new people will come to play a new story. It seems that there is still a little expectation. It’s a simple story. The villain wants to destroy a galaxy to allow himself to enter Nexus, a place where all beautiful imaginations become reality and there is no time. Then the new captain prevents failure at the beginning and enters Nexus. He overcomes the temptation and tells himself this. It's not true. After finding Kirk who was trapped here 78 years ago, he persuaded Kirk to turn back the clock and successfully stop the villain.
I have seen a lot of scattered science fiction, and the fear of life is limited to occupy many of the main lines of science fiction, so we have time travel, we have various dimensional switching, and various genetic carnivals. The style of Star Trek: simple adventure stories to tell simple truths. The new captain of the Enterprise began to feel bad because of the accidental death of his brother and nephew, and fell into confusion because of the confusion "time is a predator that stalked us all our lives". Later, he entered Nexus to live an ideal life but finally wanted to understand "this is not the real". Then I finally figured out "time is a companion who goes with us on the journey reminds us to cherish every moment because they'll never come again" (it’s a clichéd sentiment)
It seems that about science fiction, human imagination has reached a bottleneck. ; Or maybe, a really good story does not rely on a high-end theoretical framework, but can show humanity, expose the real weakness and give people courage.
Just like high-scoring articles do not necessarily rely on awesome technology, but more on good ideas. (Exposure I am a research dog (low face))

Star Trek: Generations quotes

  • Guinan: Soran is a name I haven't heard for a long time.

    Picard: You remember him?

    Guinan: Yes.

Picard: Guinan, it is very important that you tell me everything that you know. We think that Soran has developed a weapon, a terrible weapon, one that might even give him enough power to destroy an entire...

Guinan: Soran doesn't care about weapons or power. He just cares about getting back to the Nexus.

    Picard: What's the Nexus?

Guinan: The energy ribbon that destroyed that ship was not just some random phenomena traveling through the universe. It's a doorway to another place that we call the Nexus, and it's a place I've tried very, very hard to forget.

    Picard: What happened to you?

Guinan: It was like being inside joy. As if joy was something tangible and you could wrap yourself up in it like a blanket, and never in my entire life have I ever been as content.

Picard: And then you were beamed away from there.

Guinan: Pulled. Ripped away. None of us wanted to go, and I would have done anything, *anything*, to get back there. And once I realized that wasn't possible, I learned to live with that.

    Picard: What about Soran?

Guinan: If he's still obsessed, he could be a very, very dangerous man.

Picard: Why would he destroy a star? Thank you, Guinan.

Guinan: [he stands and moves to leave] If you go, you're not gonna care about anything. Not this ship, not Soran, not me. Nothing. All you'll want is to stay in the Nexus, and you're not gonna want to come back.

  • Geordi: What do you want?

Dr. Soran: As you may or may not be aware, I am an El-Aurian. Some people call us a race of listeners. We listen. Right now, Mr. La Forge, you have my complete attention. I want to listen to everything you know about trilithium.
