I like the first half of the story better than the second half. It can also be said that the "Visit" in the film moved my heart more than the film itself. I don't know if I can say that this is just an epiphany in the play-in-play, "Visit", which may be enough to become a more complete story than the film itself. At least, it's my favorite story.
This story is tear-jerking, with flashbacks and interludes, making people feel that "even if they meet, they should not know each other". The first love, met by chance, quietly undressed while the lover was sleeping, had sex alone, wrote a letter in the early morning, and never looked back.
In the years, people are like drifting boats, "a glass of wine in the spring breeze of peach and plum, ten years of light in the night and rain in the rivers and lakes". Years after parting, spring grass is blooming, and when we meet again, each other listens to each other, the echo of the years.
All this under the interpretation of Almodovar, is not out of the ordinary.
Why worry about being clichéd? Why always think about looking for something other than life?
The second half gave me the feeling that I wanted to talk too much and wanted to be outstanding. Novelty is novelty, there are twists and turns, and there is also the shrewdness and darkness of Chen Cang, and there is also a taste of cynicism and deconstruction. It's a pity that the distant echo has become a little interrupted and a little lost.
