"Bad Education" has a scene that I will remember for the rest of my life. That is the scene where the male protagonist sang "moonriver" to the sound of the piano by the river in the church school when he was a child. From here, the teacher of the church fell in love with the boy Iglesias, and began his unfortunate life. Church, prostitution, sexual inversion, identity theft, revenge, and murder, these elements lingering in Almodovar's story are staged in different ways again and again, and the audience guesses that there is more or less the experience of the director's autobiography. However, (perhaps) after going through this and writing this down, Lao Mo can still look at the world with warm and kind eyes, and present a scene as true and beautiful as the moon river. This is a virtue that is higher than talent and respectable. . Like Christ and Buddha, he has compassion for the unique existence of all living beings. Not afraid to imitate the desires and motivations of each character with thunderous means, and the bodhisattva gives them the greatest freedom without judgment. The director's de-moralized perspective and style are most clearly seen in this black crime thriller, and it makes this three-line narrative climax particularly thought-provoking. This is another play within a play, and it is also mixed with real and false imaginations and memories, which is more complicated than the general play-within-a-play structure. Lao Mo also interspersed several lines with unparalleled superb narrative, concise and powerful. It can be said that in terms of script and narrative ability, probably no one can match it. If you don't hate gays, this movie is not to be missed.
