The film is adapted from the novel of the same name published in 2001 by Ann Braschelles, and tells the story between four young girls and a pair of flying jeans. At a thrift store, they found a pair of jeans that fit the four men's shapes. Although the four girls would spend the summer in different places, they decided to use this pair of jeans to maintain their relationship.
"Summer of Jeans" is directed by Ken Capis and stars Alexis Bledel, America Ferrera, Blake Lively and Able Tamblyn Romance. The film premiered in the United States on June 1, 2005.
