Looking for depth or breadth?

I saw Sister Tao's film review and Amy's participation before, and I always wanted to watch it. After watching it on the afternoon of my birthday, the overall viewing experience is not at the level of the high-scoring movies I expected. After watching the two-hour TV show, I didn't feel it was too long, and the finale was not as tacky as a family reunion. The fatal blow received by the civilian population is real. There are some scenes that seem incomprehensible. In the end, Amy broke free from the binding rope, and after explaining where her son was hiding, she suddenly got up and didn't know where to sing. But I still believe that in such a situation, the behavior of ordinary people will definitely not be as flawless as the heroic blockbuster.

Apart from the above, I think the film is still a bit superficial. The group-like film sees the perspectives of different people, even terrorists have pranks and greed for ordinary people, and in times of crisis there are still people who do not serve personal interests. Hotel staff and police. But maybe it doesn't stop there, it's really hard to have both breadth and depth in a movie. As an audience, I want to reflect on what the director or creator wants to convey to the public at the end of the movie. Behind the bloody restoration of the facts of the massacre, is it an attack on the weakness of the national police force? Is attacking the role of religious ideas on the team? Or praise the fearlessness of ordinary people? I thought about it a little, but unfortunately it was only a one-sided clue.
