In the movie, there are several red umbrellas floating in the air. When Scarlett was wandering about her future, the red umbrella appeared. When she decided to be a nanny, the red umbrella took her to the wealthy area. At the end of the film, the red umbrella appeared again. It can be seen that the director also gave the red umbrella a symbolic meaning, and it is the red umbrella that grasps the future. However, because Forrest Gump used it too successfully, the red umbrella in this film was a failure. At least for me, the red umbrella was too deliberate and lacked new ideas. Instead, it became a failure.
After watching the whole movie, there may be many people who will compare it with "The Devil Wears Prada". There is no doubt that the two leading actresses in the two movies are masters. Due to personal emotional tendencies, I will not comment for the time being.
However, there is also one of the biggest highlights of this film, that is, Laura Linney's performance, which is very successful.
