Drawing a tiger is not an anti-dog

Psychic Detective: Imagine a projection on the wall where someone is staring at you, saying something inexplicable, and reminding you not to answer when your phone rings. This is the spooky scene you'll see in this film, combining "The Silence of the Lambs" and "The Seven Deadly Sins", plus superpowers and religion, Anthony Hopkins and Colin Farrell's "cross-fighting" Psychic Detective shows great ambition. Can predict the future is a blessing or a curse? When a loved one is suffering from a terminal illness, should they be relieved or prayed for? If an irrelevant person suffers from a terminal illness without knowing it, is it a mercy or a crime to let them die without knowing it? Can someone with superpowers decide the life and death of others? There are no definitive answers to these questions in the film, but isn't it the beauty of life to be full of unknowns? Just like every movie, if the ending is already known, it may greatly reduce the fun of watching movies. Such a film should be full of suspense, but it makes people nervous, and the director with no ambition wastes the wonderful performances of the two major acting schools. The narrative, along with loose editing, spoils everything. 7 points, for the sake of Doctor Lamb and Alexander the Great, the heroine is amazing after changing clothes, and has the feeling of Charlize Theron, plus 1 point.

  • Agent Katherine Cowles: Dr. Clancy, before we go upstairs, with all due respect, I don't hold an ounce of confidence in the paranormal in general. I think it's a sham. I hope that's okay.

John Clancy: No problem at all. I feel the same about shrinks. After only one thing, your money. Give them your little finger, they'll take your whole hand.

Agent Katherine Cowles: Whoever said that has obviously never met a good one.

John Clancy: It was Sigmund Freud.

  • Joe Merriwether: [in hospital bed after shooting] Hell, John! I'm not ready to die. I guess, uh... You know, I'd been planning on it. I've been expecting it for a little bit. But not for a few more months. You know, I... I have so much stuff to do. I want to move Laura to the country. I want to teach my little boy to drive.

John Clancy: You were always a lousy driver.

    Joe Merriwether: [laughing] I know.
