When I saw the beautiful protagonist who looked exactly like Nickel Kidman, I thought that this film should be the 21st century version of "Silence of the Lambs", and even always suspected that the sharp, gloomy and depressed old Hopkins was the culprit. However, everything is very different. If it is consistent with what I expected, then this film cannot surpass the Lamb, Hannibal, etc. Why should Hopkins accept his own bad evening? Although the main line of the story is nonsensical serial murder, there are also many fragmented horror images flashed by, but they are all chili sauce wrapped around a gentle core. This film hardly touches on evil. What it discusses is the form of euthanasia. Is euthanasia itself a crime? Should it be punished? Is euthanasia relief or pain for the people involved? The only person who really has some critical and ironic significance is a young partner who is listed as the target of assassination-knowing that he has a genetic disease, but thinking about getting married and having children and harming future generations, is it too immoral, is it someone who insists on doing this? It should be targeted - that's morally debatable. Hopkins doesn't show much expression, since Mr. Hannibal, the calm look and the mind-flying have become his hallmarks. It is not easy for an actor to make a successful transition. He simply wanders between psychologists and psychics and makes some contributions to social progress. Colin Farrell appeared very late, and the space for shaping the positive image of the detached Communist Party member is a little narrow. Director Alfonso will pay attention next time. It is worth mentioning that Mr. Hopkins served as the producer this time. Although there were many close-up shots, the wrinkles could not stop the pride in the old man's heart. As a sociology education film, although there are many bloody horror scenes, it will not add negative energy to the end, so it is worth watching.
