I've got all my brains open, can you show me this?

I feel that the content and the title of the film do not match, which directly leads to the inconsistency of the entire viewing process and expectations, and the viewing experience deteriorates. I believe this is not my feeling alone.
The original title of the film is Solace, which means comfort, consolation, and relief (pain). When the title and subtitles are published, there are special explanations below. Of course, there are also Chinese translations - I can only understand the English level by reading the translation, or it can be said that there is no level.
When I saw it at the time, I had a bad premonition that the movie was not like the Chinese translation of the title "Psychic Detective". There is a conflict between "psychic" and "detective": if Sherlock Holmes solves a case with superpowers, is it still Sherlock Holmes?
But I bought the tickets two days ago. The idea that ""The Detective" will probably be a supernatural version of Sherlock Holmes' story has been preconceived and lingering - it's my fault that I don't understand English, and I see Solace too. do not know the meaning. So when I watched the movie later, the feeling was still:
I have opened my brain, so you will show me this?
So remember, to watch the movie in the future, you must first read the original English name of the movie, so as not to make a mistake.

After complaining about the translation of the title, let's talk about the movie seriously. This is the first movie I watched this year, and the first movie review I wrote this year. A good start is important, so try to write this article as seriously as possible.

I bought a ticket early, of course, because I smelled the smell of the human brain. Ah no, I saw the halo of Anthony Hopkins. His brain-eating performance in "Silence of the Lambs", ahhh, who can forget his superb performance? In the recent film, of course, it has become my first choice.
I roughly watched the movie introduction (because I was afraid of spoilers; the spoilers will start below), it is said that he is only a supporting role. But after watching the trailer, I feel that it revolves around him, and the appearance should be guaranteed. And the person who played the villain was very familiar (later searched and saw his "Sniper Phone Booth"), so he decisively bought the advance ticket.

The important thing to repeat in a separate line: the following is a spoiler; but not to tell what the movie is all about, because the movie does not require analysis to understand like "Terrorist Cruises".
In addition, when it comes to other movie plots, it is also a spoiler.

The opening eyes are very dazzling, but because it is a detective film, after thinking about it, I think it will not be the eyes of Mr. An. And then it was a dead man.
I would like to make a statement here. Writing it now will make me look like an afterthought. I have seen many movies. It is said that I am familiar with the 300 Tang poems, and I can sing even if I don’t know how to write poetry. I have some experience with the film routine. If you don't believe me, you can invite me to watch a movie, and I will give you a prediction on the side.

Then the male protagonist who appeared was also very familiar. (I searched for this, and I have seen his "Note: I Love You" and "Watcher".) It is
full of the image of a warm man. It's hard to say whether the casting was good (for the film as a healing "Solace") or poor (for the film as the psychic version of Sherlock Holmes' "The Detective"). Anyway, every time he has to answer the phone and reduce his role in order to create a two-person world for the heroine who will appear later and the old man An who will appear later, I still feel sorry for him. Especially when he died in a hurry later, I feel more distressed for him.
Originally, I still had a glimmer of hope that he would be the villain BOSS, but gradually, 70 minutes later, the big villain Colin appeared, I knew there was no drama. The male protagonist (actually, Mr. An is the male protagonist, but it's convenient to call him that) is a warm man. He just came out to draw out the heroine and Mr. An, and create a two-person world for them, and then die to set off the atmosphere and sublime the theme. .
Again, I really feel sorry for him.

The heroine is beautiful, that's enough.
But people are not just beautiful.
I have reservations about the clichés in the plot. In the performance, the heroine's language, tone and expression are all in place. As a psychologist, her careful and precise choice of words and sentences, her calm demeanor and demeanor, and her subsequent excitement, were all well done.
The key is to be beautiful. Pretty.

Mr. An's appearance can be said to be very scheming. At first, I gave a back view without showing my face, but when I saw it later, I couldn't help feeling that the years were not forgiving. Those deep eyes are now embedded in a pleated face. No disrespect meant.
The first time Mr. An cast a spell, it was a scene where the heroine's head was bleeding suddenly and the background was pure white. Really scary. I immediately thought of The Shining. It was the picture of the two little girls lying in a pool of blood, and the picture of the blood gushing out of the elevator. This was the only time I was intimidated, and when Mr. An cast a spell later, I had magic resistance.
At the same time, I also learned that Mr. An's spellcasting requires physical contact. But then it did not fully comply with this setting.
After that, the death of Mr. An and the death of the heroine can all be thought of as rehearsal. Like "Death is Coming". Not surprised at all. What amazes me a bit is the doppelganger when the cast recreates the scene before the death of the girl who died in the bathtub, and Colin's doppelganger later. One is to keep the action trajectory, and the other is to guess the action trajectory, which is very interesting.
As for the other multiple casts, it feels like a MV. Just to look good, not necessary. For example, the subway section appeared many times, and then suddenly it was still displayed one by one, and the dynamic became static (for example, the wolf became a tattoo). That part may be bad, but it didn't surprise me. Even, I thought that after suddenly standing still and showing them one by one, I would give a picture of suddenly all moving from stillness, but it didn't.
There are also memories of Mr. An's daughter, so it's hard to tell whether it's a memory or a spellcasting. But the angel shape and the wind blowing hair look really beautiful. By the way, I have long thought that my daughter was sent away by Mr. An himself, which also determines that the movie cannot meet the positioning of a suspense movie. It is a healing film dressed in suspense, sci-fi (supernatural), and detective (criminal), just like "Lovely Bones".

The rival scenes between Mr. An and the heroine are very interesting.
Impressed, as Mr. An said a theory, the heroine said that it must be said by someone who doesn't understand psychology. Then Mr. An had known to tell the heroine like this, that it was Freud who said that. (Mr. An is a doctor, the heroine is a psychiatrist, and Freud is a doctor + a psychiatrist.)
Later, Mr. An said the life experience and past of the heroine, and the overall effect can only be regarded as pediatrics. Using this to show the strength of Old Man An's mana is like telling the truth first while interrogating the husband of the girl who died in the bathtub. The technique is not clever at all. At least it's inferior to parking and waiting for the other party to drive over - not to say that the scene of chasing the car is good, in fact, that scene is simply inexplicable.

In short, the film discusses a heavy topic: euthanasia, which is about to die in pain (it is mortal, so the introduction of the superpower of precognition), is it moral mercy or homicide?
If it is easy for others to choose, what about your relatives? You can also easily start, don't you feel guilty afterwards?
From this point of view, the film is actually very deep. It's also really worth seeing.
However, no matter from the propaganda (announcement), the title (Chinese translation), as well as the excavation and presentation of the film itself, all of them are only shallow and far from reaching the depth they should have.

The conclusion is that it can be viewed as a healing film and an ethical film, but it will be a bit bloody and messy. As a suspense film and crime film, it's not brain-burning and stunning enough.
At the end of the writing, I want to recommend a Hong Kong and Taiwan movie called "Detective". Starring Liu Qingyun. No matter the title or the plot, they are all genuine and innocent. I give five stars.

A genre film with ideas but weak execution and conspiracy, the setting of psychic goes from a fragmented collage of the past and the future, to changing the future direction by predicting the ending. This ambiguous setting is full of loopholes. Why is the bullet variable and the terminal illness difficult to cure? Values are also ambiguous, discussing the heavy topic of life and death, and talking about euthanasia for a long time without saying why. No matter how high your psychic level is, you can't change your fate against the sky, and such a concept of fate can be considered unified.

Colin is very handsome after washing his face, but he just loves to work too hard... When 'Papa' solves a case, he thinks of a 'cat and mouse game' [laughing] Make good use of his past crime experience and skills. An uncle fell asleep, and the watch asked me how I knew [goodbye] snoring throughout the whole process. Want to give an extra half star?
